Welcome to the official website of Cub Scout Pack 781!

We are a GOLD level Pack in the Black Feather District, within the Greater Colorado Council, of Scouting America.

We normally meet at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Castle Rock, Colorado typically on the THIRD Tuesday of every month. For special events, we meet in various other places.

We have at least five planned outdoor activities and do several service projects a year. We have rank advancement twice each year. The AOL’s, Pack 781’s youth leaders, advance in February. Our Lions - Webelos will advance in April. Once we advance, we will post the new AOL’s for the 2025-2026 Scouting Year.

Our Advancing AOL’s for February 2026:

We welcome both boys and girls all year long in the Kindergarten through 5th grades.

Kindergarteners are Lion Cubs
1st Graders are Tiger Cubs
2nd Graders are Wolf Cubs
3rd Graders are Bear Cubs
4th Graders are Webelos
5th Graders are AOL's (Arrow of Light) and crossover to Scouts BSA, in February

Our Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos crossover to the next rank in Cub Scouts, in April.

We have some great events coming up, and we would LOVE to have you and your son or daughter join us. We put the "OUTING" in Scouting!!

Hometown Heroes!

We had a awesome group of guest for our "Hometown Heroes Month" this year by having the National Forest, Parks & Wildlife come visit and share what they do as Heli-Tack Crew, Hot Shots and Smoke Jumpers that go out to fight all of the wildfires that are going on.

2018 Advancement

Last Thursday was our 2018 advancement and I truly hope all the scouts enjoyed culmination of all of their hard work this year during the rank up ceremony. I hope everyone enjoyed watching JC Bear's presentation for our 3 scouts that earned their Arrow of Light (AOL) and crossed over in to Boy Scouts on our own AOL cross-over bridge. The presentation that was put on is a great way to honor all of their hard work they have done over the past 5 years while allowing all of the current younger scouts a chance to see what is to come as they continue their scouting journey.

Please don't forget to attend the Blue and Gold Banquet next Thursday February 8th at 6:30pm located at Castle Rock Middle School. This is a celebration of scouting and the Bear Den has put together a program of carnival games, food and a slide show for us.
